Description

Pogaca is a very traditional Turkish pastry; great for breakfast or a healthy snack for tea or coffee time.

You can use cheese with parsley, ground meat, or potato as a filling according to your taste.

 
 

Ingredients

  1. Mix egg white, milk, olive oil, butter, baking powder and salt in a big bowl, and add flour until you obtain a nonsticky dough.

    For the filling; mix crumbled feta cheese and chopped parsley in a bowl and set aside.

    Preheat the oven to 380 degrees Fahrenheit.

    Take a small piece from the dough and flatten it in your palm.

    Put a teaspoon of the cheese mixture in it and close it from the edges.

    Do the same for the rest of the dough.

    Place them on a greased baking pan and brush the egg yolk on top of each roll.

    Sprinkle the black cumin on top and bake for about 35 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
