Description

Kofte, the term used for meatballs in Turkey, is one of the basic dishes in Turkish cuisine.

I usually prepare it in large amounts and put them in the freezer, so I always have something to cook in case of an emergency.

Ingredients

Preparation

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl.

  2. Knead it with your hands until everything mixes well.

    Roll the mixture into balls and flatten them in your palm.

  3. Place them on a baking sheet.

    Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

    Cook them for about 15-20 minutes flipping after 8-10 minutes or until they browned on both sides.

    You can serve them with french fries or pilaf ( Turkish rice).
