Note
Tips For Making the Lemon Pasta Recipe
- Don’t overcook your pasta, leave it al-dante ( Al dente is an Italian term used to describe the ideal consistency of pasta when cooked. Al dente pasta is firm when bitten without being hard or chalky). That’s because you are going to continue to cook after you toss it with the sauce,so it can be mushy.
- Save your pasta water for the sauce. Don’t drain it.
- You can skip red chili flakes if you want to keep the taste on the milder side.
- Use fresh ingredients
What Type of Pasta Should I Use?
I prefer to use spaghetti or thin spaghetti, but you can also use angel hair pasta.
How Long Does It Keep?
It is better to serve it immediately but if you have leftovers, you can keep them in the fridge for a couple of days. You may want to add some water when you reheat it on the stovetop or in the microwave.
What Do You Serve It With?
You can serve it by itself as a main dish or as a side dish for grilled meats, chicken or fish. Or simply a salad side or with some garlic bread.
And also if you are a wine lower like me, this pasta with lemon sauce perfectly pairs with crisp, dry white wines like Sauvignon Blanc or Riesling.
