Easy Chanterelle Mushrooms Recipe
Description
Chanterelle is the common name of several species of fungi and they are among the most popular of wild edible mushrooms. Chanterelle mushrooms are yellowish-orange, funnel-shaped mushrooms commonly grown in hardwood forests. They are low in calories, rich in fiber and other nutrients such as vitamin D and copper.

Remove the rough ends with a sharp knife and wash them gently under running water individually. Air dry them on a paper towel before cooking.

Add the mushrooms to a dry nonstick skillet and start cooking over medium heat. They hold quite some amount of moisture inside their cells and you are gonna see this moisture escape into the pan while cooking.

Continue to cook stirring with a spatula. After a few minutes add butter stirring occasionally. Add garlic and saute the mushrooms until they turn golden brown. Serve immediately by themselves, as a side dish or as a sauce with any type of pasta.
