The Ancient City of Dara was a part of Mesopotamia, a fortress city that even the Romans used! 🏰 These photos are from our trip to the Mardin province of Turkey. Specifically, this is when we were in the Necropolis, the cemetery area full of carved rock and stone. Visiting this location is also something I highly recommend, especially for the history lovers out there. But maybe avoid going there in the summer, as the sun was quite powerful! ☀️🏜
